Curt McDowell was far more prolific than the medium of home video gives him credit. As odd, dark and meandering McDowell's best-known film is - the one-of-a-kind Thundercrack! - Lunch is relatively light-hearted, fast-paced fun! McDowell's schizophrenia if this is low-rent art or arty pornography is given full-reign. If Paul Bartel or either of the Kuchar brothers ever tried to make a straight-up XXX porn film, it would probably look a lot like this.

The thin plot is the sexual shenanigans of the inhabitants of an apartment building. There's plenty of hardcore, suggesting McDowell was working for hire.
